ATL

Robyn and I headed down to Hot-Lanta to the Japanese Consulate. While we were down their we met with Paul and Nacy Geischen, former OCSI teachers and Allen a newbie like us. We had a great time having lunch, learning about what OCSI is all about and making new friends.
While we were down there we had the pleasure of seeing Rob Bell speak. That weird picture above is an absolutly fascinating story of how everything is spiritual, how God loves us and how God is a pleasure seeker. Rob Bell mentioned how even today we can be slaves in Egypt by letting our job or work consume us. It's so easy to get wrapped up in a job and forget that we are human beings, not human doings.
We are currently packing for the big move to Okinawa and soaking up our family and friends before we leave. I don't believe anyone is looking at our blog, if you are please write a comment at the bottom of the post.
Much love in Him
Paul and Robyn Robison

Superman

I never thought about the parallel between Superman and God.
After seeing Superman returns there are to many to list.
One quote during the movie
was that he "hears everything".
We create these ultimate people because we long for someone to fill the roll of Superman.
How about..... we have our own Superman,"Savior", (use a few time in the movie) right here on earth.
Superman died and rose again. Where have I seen that before?
Superman died to save us. Where have I seen that before?
Only one thing can
hurt Superman (kryptonite) and only one thing hurts God(sin).
Think about it.

Sin is like stabbing kryptonite into Gods heart.
He is left unable to help
you even though he desperatly wants to.
If your like me (I hope your
not)and think it would be cool to be Superman, it would be.
But we can't. And of course we want to do the things we can't.
But know that you can chill
with Superman (Jesus).
Be blessed
by his Father, and even get high
a fly with the Spirit.
Watch the movie.
P.S. Can Superman fly w/o his cape? If so why does he wear it?

Marital Bliss!

Here we go!! The BIG DAY. God blessed us with a beautiful wedding day. We could not of asked for anything more between the perfect weather to the best bridal party and the guests who were keepin it real! Even though Donny Orlando kept it "realer" with his break dancing moves.
Now we are down south just relaxing and getting ready for our next adventure. We had a little mix up with Robyn's visa (spelled her new last name wrong) but it all worked out. We will be going to Atlanta for a few days in July to get our visa stamped, meet with Allen a first year teacher at OCSI like us and we will be hearing Rob Bell speak. August 1 is when we are leaving for Japan and God has provided full support for our mission. Valley Christian Church has truly blessed our lives and we greatly appreciate their continuous love and support. We are right in the middle of Gods will and it feels awesome. Until next time "love deeply, communicate constantly, forgive quickly and respect one another always" some wisdom from my best man Rick.
