I think I would live a much richer life if I stopped trying to prepare and plan for any and everything that might happen.  My chains are linked to the future and what it holds instead of living in today.  Reminds me of Proverbs 16:9. "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps."   It doesn't matter how much we try to plan and prepare, God always gives us exactly what we need.  And it always seems to be something that we never planned for or thought about.

Simple yet complex, I think we have a lot to do with our path and direction in life. Sometimes I think God just wants us to move and He'll put His master plan into action. Of course it always starts with us taking the first step and, of course, it's always the hardest to take.

I am so good at wasting time thinking about what I should have done or how yesterday should have played out differently. I feel like an infant, probably less because infants don't think about yesterday they are only concerned with the here and now. I let so much time slip by thinking about stuff I have no control over and all the while life is passing me by.

God help me to only see 2 feet in front of me and to leave the past exactly where it belongs.
